Adelle’s Story

Hey there,

I wanted to introduce myself. I’m Adelle, one of the co-founders of Eterneva. One of the most common questions we get asked is, “Why did you start this company?” Well, I’m here for the same reason you probably are: I lost someone incredible.

In 2015, my mentor Tracey was diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer and given three months to live. She was only 47 years old.

Tracey left me some of her ashes and I was at a loss for what to do with them.Keep them in an urn? But where? And the urns out there felt so somber and dark. Scatter the ashes? But then she’d be gone.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many diamonds can be grown from the amount of ashes, hair, or other meaningful carbon sources used to create diamonds?

We can typically grow 4–6 diamonds from ½ cup of ashes, 10 grams of hair, or an equivalent amount of another carbon-rich item such as dried flowers, a small piece of cotton clothing, handwritten letters, or even a stuffed animal as well as other meaningful items.

Please note: The amount of material doesn’t determine the size of the diamond. Diamond size is influenced by the amount of time the diamond spends in growth.
