5. Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies
We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to collect information about how you use our website. Below is a breakdown of what we use, how we use it, and how you can opt out.
5.1 Cookies & Usage Data
We process information collected via cookies (small text files stored on your browser) and similar technologies (e.g., localStorage, sessionStorage) to:
- Help operate certain features of our site (e.g., remembering your language or region).
- Enhance your experience through personalization (e.g., showing relevant content).
- Analyze which parts of our site are most interesting to you (e.g., page visits, click-through rates).
Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. Please review your browser or device’s help pages for instructions. If you reject cookies, some features of our Services may not be available or may be limited. We do not respond to “Do Not Track” signals at this time.
5.1.1 Third-Party Tracking for Advertising
We allow third-party ad platforms (e.g., Google Ads) to collect usage data for interest-based advertising. To opt out of Google’s interest-based ads, visit
Google’s Ad Settings
. Opting out will not affect your use of our Services.
5.2 Specific Tracking Scripts & Pixels
Below are the tracking tools (pixels, scripts, tag managers) currently deployed on our site. We do NOT sell or share any personal data with third parties. If you choose to opt out, these tools will not load for your browser:
-
Google Tag Manager
Domain:www.googletagmanager.com
Purpose: Container for various analytics and advertising tags (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Pixel). -
HubSpot Embed
Domain:js.hs-scripts.com
Purpose: HubSpot analytics/CRM tracking (forms, page views). -
OptiMonk
Domain:onsite.optimonk.com
Purpose: On-site popups, personalized campaigns, behavioral analytics.
All other third-party libraries (e.g., jQuery Migrate from code.jquery.com
, Finsweet components from cdn.jsdelivr.net
) are for functionality only and do not track you.
5.3 How to Opt Out of Tracking
Below is an example of the HTML you place in your site’s footer so that users can click “Limit or Prevent Use of My Personal Information.” This snippet is shown here purely as a code example (wrapped in <pre><code>…</code></pre>). It does not execute on this Privacy Policy page:
<footer>
<a href="#" id="opt-out">Limit or Prevent Use of My Personal Information</a>
</footer>
<script>
document.addEventListener('DOMContentLoaded', function() {
var optLink = document.getElementById('opt-out');
if (optLink) {
optLink.addEventListener('click', function(e) {
e.preventDefault();
// Set a cookie that expires in one year
document.cookie = 'no_track=true; path=/; max-age=' + (60*60*24*365);
});
}
});
</script>
Once the no_track=true
cookie is set, Google Tag Manager, HubSpot, and OptiMonk scripts will no longer fire. You will still be able to browse and use all pages—no other functionality is affected, but you will not be counted in analytics or shown personalized popups.
5.4 Analytics Services
We use analytics services (e.g., Google Analytics) via Google Tag Manager to help us understand site traffic. They collect data such as visitor counts, pages visited, and session duration. You can install the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-On to fully disable Google Analytics tracking.
