In 2021, Cogey teamed up with Eterneva to grow a gorgeous Eterneva Diamond for her mother, Wyndie. During this year-long journey of healing and growth, she invited us along on her incredible legacy project as she set out to walk in Wyndie’s footsteps and recreate some of her most treasured photos.

Road trippin’ back in time
With the help of Google Street View and her mom’s detailed photo albums, Cogey began mapping out her adventure. Combining her forte in fashion and an eye for photography was true alchemy as she beautifully recreated Wyndie’s original photographs.
“She kept her albums almost like a diary, notes and details of names and things she did and little observations. It made me feel so close to her to look at her life like this.”

Transforming Wyndie’s ashes into a one-of-a-kind Diamond
Over the next several months, Eterneva grew a memorial diamond from carbon purified from Wyndie’s ashes and meticulously crafted a round, colorless .75-carat stone while getting to know Wyndie throughout her journey: a wonderful, adventurous, fun-loving force of nature who encouraged her children to live fearlessly and pursue their wildest dreams.
The finished tribute uniquely tells Wyndie’s story, from color to cut, and setting by Battisti Jewelers.
