Can you really make a diamond from my pet's ashes or fur?
Yes. Dogs, cats, horses, and other pets. Ashes and fur both contain carbon, and carbon is what a diamond is made of. We extract the carbon from what you send, purify it, and grow a real diamond from it. Your pet's carbon is distributed throughout the entire finished diamond. Nearly half of the diamonds we grow are for pets.

Is it strange to want a diamond for a pet?
No. Nearly half of the diamonds we grow are for pets, and the families who order them share their stories more than anyone. If people around you have said "it was just a dog" or "just a cat," you already know the size of the hole they left. A diamond is a way to keep them close that you can wear every day. You do not owe anyone an explanation.

How much of their ashes or fur do you need?
About half a cup of ashes, or about one cup of fur or hair. Most families keep the rest at home. If you have less than that, reach out before you decide anything. There are usually options, and we can measure what you have and tell you honestly whether it is enough. The amount you send does not change the size of the diamond.

I don't have their ashes. Can I still do this?
Often, yes. Fur or hair works on its own, and it does not matter how long you have kept it. Ashes do not expire either. Families have sent fur saved from a brush or a keepsake box, and ashes that sat on a shelf for years. If you are not sure what you have is enough, ask us. We will tell you plainly.

How do I know the diamond is really made from my pet?
Your pet's ashes or fur are tracked with a unique identifier from the moment your kit arrives, and each diamond is grown in isolation, one at a time. You receive photos and videos as it happens, including the moment their carbon comes out of purification. You are also welcome to visit our Texas facility and see the process yourself.

What does a pet diamond cost, and can I pay over time?
Diamonds start at $3,499. Price depends on the size and color you choose, because larger diamonds and some colors take longer to grow. Financing through Affirm starts at $188 a month, with 6, 12, or 18 month plans and 0% APR options. The welcome kit is $1, and that dollar is credited toward your diamond.

What if I am not ready yet?
You can wait. There is no deadline. Ashes and fur do not expire, and your welcome kit will be waiting when you are. Many families order the kit and leave it on a shelf until the day feels right.

Can I plan ahead for a pet who is still with me?
Yes. If your pet is older or unwell, you can make every decision now, including size, color, and cut, so there is nothing to decide in the hardest week. We call this pre-planning service Blueprint. You can also start saving some of their fur today.
